What to expect


The German Airways “Maintenance Control Centre” (MCC) is an extension of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide services to meet the operator’s objectives, at the same time satisfying associated regulatory requirements with the goal of:
  • Ensuring safe and airworthy aircraft;
  • Availability of aircraft to meet our flight schedule;
  • Co-ordinating all necessary activities to expedite the aircraft’s return to service during AOGs; 
  • Ensuring on-time repair solutions for AOG maintenance by expediting all material and parts requirements.

Your Tasks

  • Provide real-time technical guidance to flight crews and maintenance teams for in-service aircraft.
  • Monitor aircraft fault reports, manage acc. to Minimum Equipment List (MEL) deferrals, and coordinate repairs.
  • Ensure the entire fleet remains airworthy by managing technical status and compliance with regulations.
  • Act as the liaison between flight ops, maintenance, engineering, and other departments (scheduling, purchasing).
  • Manage logbook entries, technical records, and related documentation during daily operation and in close coordination with CAMO. 
 
YOUR PROFILE
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 2 years in a corresponding position in aviation. Ideally, this experience should be in an ACMI or charter airline setting.
  • Holding a valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License and completing relevant aircraft type familiarization training will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
